TEDxChios is made up of 25+ volunteers with an inquiring spirit and with the mission to transmit the non-profit nature, voluntary value and innovative spirit of TED. Through talks from live speakers who want to share their ideas and thoughts with the public, TEDxChios aims to spark conversation, broaden mind and change the way we think about a better future for the island.

Today covers almost all topics, from science to business to global issues. TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world.

The purpose of the lectures is to make great ideas accessible and spark conversation in the communities that host TED.
